Erik Munnikhof – Designer

VDS also produces the designs of Erik Munnikhof from Kembo furniture, including his latest creation, the Family chair. Kembo has successfully marketed its products in the US for over 20 years. Now Kembo will bring its new products to the US through joint efforts with VDS International.

Erik started to work as a designer at Kembo in 1986 after completing his Industrial Design training at the Technical University in Delft. During his career, he has designed numerous successful products for Kembo, Leolux and Punch such as the Family, Cyclus, Freyr chairs and the Elektron, Segno, Universe and Mi table and desk systems. Erik has won numerous prizes and awards for his chair designs including the Good Industrial Design which promotes excellence in industrial design.
